Merry Christmas!!

Today is Snowed in Seattle, beautiful!!! White Christmas here in the Northwest!

So, Mom just visited for the holiday weekend from Saturday to today. She just flew home on Horizon to Eugene. On Saturday we went to lunch at Mick Kelly's Irish pub and had great food. Then we went to Kevin and Sean's A Place for Pets, Pet Store in Burien. There was a darling Cairn terrier there that we snuggled with and gave some love, she was only 3.3 pounds.

Then we went to the Burien Yarn Stash. We sat and knitted for a while with Beth and Bonnie, the shop owners who are also mother-daughter. I got some stretchy yarn for making socks named fixation-- it is from Cascade Yarns. I also got 2, size 2 , 24" Addi Skacel needles to make my socks. Mom usually uses 16" needles, but these are just fine by me. We then went to visit Danny and Kathy Stevenson, my dog watchers. They had a cute pug there named Gigi who a had tongue too long for her mouth!! On Sunday, we mostly hung around the house, but went to Goodwill and to the Guadalupe Market for enchilada makings. We found some good sweaters at Goodwill!

On Monday, my friend Paula came by and brought me the cutest ornament with my name on it :-) We also watched so many movies this weekend:

Last night, I finished the first book in the Debbie Macomber knitting series, The Shop on Blossom Street. It was so good! I am really looking good to reading the next in the series, The Good Yarn. They are really heartwarming.

We also ate really yummy food-- Spaghetti, Chicken Fajitas, Enchiladas, yummy!!

Lucky and Lola also got yummy cookies for Christmas!
